'Tis the season for gift giving... and every year it fells like it gets harder and harder! I always struggle with coming up with thoughtful and useful present ideas, and not getting gifts just to wrap something up. Since quitting fast fashion and focusing more on my carbon footprint, I thought it would be fitting to do a guide that focuses on ethical and sustainable gift options.

SO - let's dive into it!

*Full disclosure - some of these are affiliate links, which means I will make a VERY small commission from sales. Your support means the world to me, truly!

  3. Baby Baggu Reusable Bag: This is one of the reusable bags I ALWAYS have on me. I love it because its small, but can carry so much. It's perfect for when you only need to grab a few things at the store, or if you need to carry some extra items that won't fit in your purse. Plus, it folds up into nothing!
  4. BLANK Mock Long Sleeve Ribbed Tee: My FAVE base layers for the colder months. They're fitted, so no bulk under thicker layers, and SO soft.

  1. Gathre Micro Mat: These cutie little mats can be used as changing pads, place mats, dog bowl mats... the possibilities are endless! Just wipe them clean and let dry. They come in a bunch of colors and are just a-freaking-dorable. I'll be buying all of them when we have kiddos, for sure.

  3. Crochet Kids Alpaca Stuffed Animal: This is just so cute I low key want it for myself...
  4. Yeti 30 oz. Rambler: This is the ONLY way I'll drink water. Okay, other than seltzers... but seriously, this Yeti is the best. It keeps things cold/hot for ages, which is great if you're like me and sip on water slowly..... I have the straw lid and it makes drinking that much easier.
  5. SoYoung Craft Paper Lunch Poche: The cutest lunchbox I ever did see!
  6. 17oz. Swell Bottle: I have a lot of tumblers and to be honest, I use them all, all the time. They're just so convenient! My swell bottle is my go-to for plane travel because I can throw it in my bag and not have to worry about it spilling through the lid. It also keeps things at temp for over 24 hours... like magic! They come in a bunch of different colors and textures, so there's one to match everyone's style!
  7. Krochet Kids intl. Hawthorne Beanie: Another thing both of you can wear... I mean, this is like the perfect beanie!
  8. Joseph Joseph 30015 Intelligent Waste Compost Bin Food: I'm actually totally buying this. How CUTE is this little compost bin! Great reviews too. It's small so it won't take up hardly any space - great for apartments or smaller spaces.

  2. Beautycounter Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel: I love this stuff - it evens out skin tone and redness overnight and doesn't actually make you "peel". Another clean beauty brand that I highly recommend!
  3. Women's ReNew Channeled Liner: I have this in a size small and it's been my go-to jacket right now while it's not super freezing yet. I sized up one size so I could more easily fit larger sweaters underneath and I just love it.
  4. Stasher Bag Reusable Silicone Bag Starter Kit: I use our Stasher bags allll the time. They're dishwasher and microwave safe, and just way cuter than single use plastic bags (ew).
  5. Ember Coffee Mug: I haven't tried this yet but I've heard awesome things and I'm v intrigued. I'm someone who sips my coffee for hours, even after it's totally chilled - so this seems like the perfect thing for me!

  1. Everlane Form Bag: My hubby gifted me my Form Bag last Christmas and it's not my go-to for the colder months (I switch to a lighter color leather bag in spring/summer). It's adjustable strap makes it easy to go from shoulder bag to crossbody in about 2 seconds. It's also incredibly well made and super durable.
  2. Elizabeth Suzann Lightweight Wool Scarf: ES can do no wrong. I opted for a jacket from her Cold Weather collection this year, but I may just have to invest in this cozy scarf as well - it looks like absolute perfection and will no doubt last forever.
  3. Nisolo Mariella Mule: I just love Nisolo, what they stand for, and all of their styles. They're so well made and totally accessible for every budget. These mules are on my wishlist and would make such a great gift for someone who loves style AND comfort all in one shoe.
  4. Babaa Cardigan no.18: WORTH EVERY PENNY. I can't recommend Babaa enough - I have 2 no.18 cardigans and a no.19 and I just freaking love them. They're made to be lived in and to LAST. So cute and cozy and fabulous.
  5. Gathre Maxi Mat: We have this mat and it's one of my favorite things. It's not only WAY prettier than a large towel, but it's also super easy to clean. Bring it to the beach, with you for a picnic, really anywhere that you need to sit (or lay) on the ground!
  6. Men's Nisolo Andres All Weather Boot: Because who doesn't love a stylish pair of men's boots?? Great to dress up or down and made for all the crazy weather we have here in New England.
  7. Everlane Day Boots: I have 3 pairs and they're my absolute favorite ankle boot of all time. The leather is buttery soft, molds to your foot for a perfect fit and hits at just the right spot on the ankle. 12/10 - I would own every color if I could!
  8. Mejuri 14k Gold Bold Hoops: A great dainty-statement earring (if that's a thing?) - and perfect to wear every day.
  9. Vincent James Slip Dress: The actual perfect midi dress every. Wear this to a holiday party with a pair of heels or with a cardigan and sneakers - it'll do it all. Ethically and sustainably made in the US. All of her designs are just amazing, I have 3 of her tanks and I wear them on repeat!

BONUS ITEMS Because I love bags :)

  1. Apolis Market Tote: I received one of these totes as a wedding gift from my Maid of Honor with my new last name, our wedding date and the city we got married in, and it's my absolute favorite! So personal, so special, and so useful! It's not a lined bottom and is super sturdy - I bring it everywhere when I travel!
  2. Baggu Packable Backpack: I'm obsessed with this color and the simplicity of this backpack. It's perfect for travel, school, your commute to work - and big enough to fit a laptop!
  3. Baggu Standard Reusable Bag: I have like 12 of these and I carry at least 2-3 with me at all times. They fold up into nothing (and into their own little pouches) so they're perfect to throw into your purse for whenever you need a bag!

WHEW! We made it to the end! Now that I want every single thing on this list... it's time to really get down with the gifting ;) Presents you can feel good about buying, from brands you can feel even better about supporting. I hope you enjoyed this gift guide and feel inspired for your own holiday shopping... I know I do!

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and safe Holiday season!! Love you all - XO
