Freebie | Hello 2015 Project Life Cards • Caylee Grey

I cannot even begin to fathom that it is already 2015... where did the year go!? I feel like I'm still getting used to writing 2014 on things...

This year has proven to be great in many ways. Matthew and I purchased our first home, we got a puppy, and made many wonderful memories with our friends and family. I have no doubt that 2015 will bring even more happiness.

This year I have a few things I would like to (seriously) focus on...

1. Drink more water.
This is just obvious. Everyone should do this. It affects our health, our skin, hair, nails, mood, everything! I don't know what's wrong with me but unless I'm absolutely parched beyond belief, I just can't seem to make myself drink enough water. Coffee and tea is another story, but you know what I mean. This year I vow to make a conscious effort to HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE!

2. Find the time to exercise and stop making excuses.
I'm lazy. I love sleeping - I could literally sleep all day... but you don't get a thigh gap by sitting on the couch. It's time to really get my ass in gear. (Plus we're going on vacation in July so the cellulite seriously needs go before then.)

3. Blog more frequently. (Which involves trying new things, visiting new places and meeting new people.)
I need to remember why I started this because I've been seriously slacking lately. I often find myself with so much to do and very little hours in the day to complete them. As it is, I don't get home from work until 6:00 PM and most of the year it's dark out by that time, so after dinner is cooked and the dog is walked, all I really want to do is curl up on the couch and relax (who's with me?). But seriously, what kind of excuse is that! I need to stop making these crazy excuses and go out there and get shit done... then write about it.

4. Save (more) money.
This might require a second job, because clearly my shopping addiction isn't going anywhere. But I think this year I'll focus more on what I really need, rather than what I want in that moment. I'm hoping that my efforts to not be so impulsive will lead to more money in the bank. Fingers crossed.

5. Figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
I've been asking myself this question for as long as I can remember, and the clock is seriously ticking. What do I want to do with my life? What kind of impact do I want to make? I've always known what my passions were, but I've also had a conscience telling me that I need to do something that will make me enough money to survive. With student loans, a mortgage, car payments - it adds up! While I am a firm believer in happiness over income, I still need to pay my bills. Long story short: this year I need to focus on getting back on track with my career goals. I'll be in debt for the rest of my life, I might as well do what makes me happy while I'm paying it all off.

Here's to a safe, healthy and happy year ahead,

CHEERS!

  1. Essays are of four kinds like expository, persuasive, argumentative and analytical. Writing them demands focus and skills which need to be developed with due attention. It is good to take guidance while writing essays at advanced level. See more do my biology homework
